The Upper Muddy Creek drainage has a long history of native fish and wildlife habitat work. This project is a continuation of this work and will benefit fish, wildlife, and livestock. The Upper Muddy Phase II BDA project will look to restore wetlands that were once flooded by historic beaver activity, which are no longer present. Project partners will also be looking at important questions like stream flow and riparian area response to the work. The Upper Muddy Phase II project area is downstream of locations with beaver activity within the last 10 years.
LT-PBR structures are Primary and Secondary BDAs in a series of complexes. Construction fill will be willow/sagebrush.
