The restoration goals are to increase stream complexity, improve riparian condition and increase extent, increase floodplain connectivity, and force ponding for fish habitat and in some instances create deep water habitat for beaver.
All structures were BDAs built by using local materials. Woody materials included mostly willow, aspen, and sagebrush, and soil was sourced from stream banks and hillslopes. Some structures were built using dead material where live material was scarce. Structures were reinforced using untreated wooden posts.
