Project Goals and Objectives
The restoration goals are to increase deposition and force ponding to create deepwater habitat for beaver expansion.
Structure Construction Elements
Maintenance was done on previously built structures: bulking up the density of material and adding height to the structures, especially where deposition had taken place from the previous year. Additional structures were also built, increasing the density of structures on the site as well. The majority of the structures were essentially dense PALS, using mostly coyote willow for material. Structures were reinforced with untreated posts.
