Project Goals and Objectives

Forest Service staff, interns and volunteers built rock structures to reduce erosion and slow down precious suface water on our Arizona Forests. Slowing moving water seeps into the ground and tends to stick around so plants and animals can thrive. Four volunteers completed this project in 72 hours.
