Project Goals and Objectives
The goal of this project is to reconnect Fox Creek with its floodplain.
Structure Construction Elements
Structures were placed strategically throughout the project reach in areas that would maximize floodplain activation during high-flows. BDA's within this project consisted of 10-30 six-inch posts driven into to streambed. Willow and juniper slash from the wood structures placed throughout the project site were used to weave/fill between posts.
