Snake Creek is located south of Monache Mountain and is one of the last significant tributaries to flow into the South Fork Kern River in the Monache Meadow Complex. Snake is an actively grazed meadow. Due to this objectives were geared toward cattle determinant, sedge production and increase floodplain connectivity.
A total of 35 structures were implemented in Snake Creek meadow, consisting of 6 BDAs, 1 Log Structure, 12 cattle determinant structures, and 16 PALS.
