Project Goals and Objectives
The goals for this project are to increase channel complexity in order to create diverse fish habitat, increase floodplain connection as well as duration of floodplain inundation, and to encourage beaver colonization of the area in the future.
Structure Construction Elements
PALS were constructed in order to encourage incised bank erosion and to produce more variable hydraulics creating diverse habitat features for salmonids. BDAs were constructed in order to increase overbank flow and floodplain inundation.
