Project Goals and Objectives

In 2022, 10 structures were implemented as a pilot study. In 2023, we returned to maintain and enhance structures. In 2024, we returned again in order to support overall objectives, which were to Objectives were to increase in-channel aggradation, increase floodplain connectivity, create deep water habitat and increase instream complexity.

Structure Construction Elements

A combination of BDA, PALS and Hybrid structures were used throughout the meadow. In areas where digging was not possible, hybrid structures were used to promote similar results as BDAs.
