Project Goals and Objectives
In 2022, 6 structures were implemented as a pilot study. In 2023, we returned to maintain and enhance structures. In 2024, we returned again in order to support overall objectives, which were to increase the water table, capture incoming sediment, aggrade the stream bed, and stabilize eroding banks.
Structure Construction Elements
A combination of BDA, PALS and Hybrid structures were used throughout the meadow. In areas where digging was not possible, hybrid structures were used to promote similar results as BDAs.
