Project Goals and Objectives

In 2023, 67 structures were implemented within Little Troy meadow to promote aggradation, increase floodplain connectivity, and raise the water table elevation. In 2024, we returned to maintain and enhance these structures to further our above objectives

Structure Construction Elements

A combination of BDA, PALS and Hybrid structures were used throughout the meadow. In areas where digging was not possible, hybrid structures were used to promote similar results as BDAs.
