Sheep Creek Phase 2
Project Goals and Objectives
Trout Unlimited, USFS, and other partners are engaged in an intensive, multi-year effort to restore, protect, and reconnect 4.5 miles of mainstem Sheep Creek floodplain and fish habitat in the headwaters. Phase 2 implemented LTPBR structures in areas previously treated with high tech regrading treatments in order to increase floodplain connection.
Structure Construction Elements
BDAs were constructed in areas that were regraded in order to encourage floodplain inundation and connectivity.
