Project Goals and Objectives
This creek is known habitat for ESA listed Steelhead species. The main goal of this project is to improve habitat quality and quantity for these salmonids by increasing stream complexity and improving resiliency of the system
Structure Construction Elements
BDAs, PALs and wood-jams were created using materials gathered through the thinning of alder and conifer stands in order to not only add structural complexity to the stream but to also encourage complexity and diversity in the riparian area surrounding.
