Rock Island
Project Goals and Objectives
The main goal of this project is to restore riparian and mesic habitat health and function within the Rock Island watershed in order to improve brooding habitat quality and diversity for sage grouse species.
Structure Construction Elements
BDAs, PALS, and LWD structures were used in order to reduce incision, encourage aggradation and increase floodplain connectivity.
