The goals within Frazer Creek were to help halt degradation and improve ecosystem resiliency and hydrologic processes primarily by increasing stream channel connection to the floodplain and by creating pool habitat and channel complexity. Ultimately resulting in greater frequency of flooding, similar to pre-degradational conditions, and provide more watering and riparian habitat for aquatic and terrestrial species as well as for livestock.
A combination of BDA's, Tight PALS, PALS, Sedge Plug and Willow planting were used to achieve the above goals. Materials were harvested on-site and consisted of mainly sage bush and willow. Structures were posted using non-treated wood posts.
