Project Goals and Objectives
expand riparian vegetation, stop channel incision, reconnect to floodplain
Structure Construction Elements
We used 3 inch diameter un-treated wooden posts, and pound them using a gas powered post pounder. We used Juniper limbs, sagebrush, and willow to fill the structures, along with 5 gallon buckets of gravel/silt. We hired contractors to pound the posts, then used a youth crew to fill them.
