Project Goals and Objectives
Arrest incision, naturally aggrade the channel and bury existing active and unstable headcuts by capturing sediment. Avoid importing rocks/riprap, avoid grading in the channel.
Structure Construction Elements
"Willow Steps" similar to channel spanning PALS using live willow posts and woven material. Installed and spaced to mimick step-pool channel morphology appropriate for this stream.
