Wildcat Creek Greenway Project
Project Goals and Objectives
Create instream diversity by adding structures without engineering, importing and installing expensive and risky LWD structures in an urban stream. The structures are similar to bank attached PALS and placed in areas to encourage jet flow, pool scour, and instream diversity.
Structure Construction Elements
"Willow Clusters" are installed as a series of closely spaced willow poles within the channel. They are designed to recruit, capture and temporarily hold woody debris within the channel. Pictures will be added after they are installed late fall 2020.
